Miks orgaaniline puuvill ja looduslikud mänguasjad on parim valik beebile?

When my little Freya first came into the world, I looked at her and thought: "How can I protect her with the best of everything?" Every mother feels this way – this desire to shield their child from anything that could harm them. And one of the first things I changed was clothes and toys.

Let me share what I've learned – not as a theory, but as a real mother's experience.

"Why are your baby's clothes so soft?" – organic cotton

I remember how Freya's skin would redden from everything in the first few weeks. Regular clothes, detergents, even some diapers. I was desperate! Then I tried an organic cotton bodysuit – and the difference was immediately noticeable.

Organic cotton is grown without chemicals and pesticides. This means the baby's delicate skin does not come into contact with substances that their body cannot yet process. And honestly? Once you touch organic cotton, you won't want anything else.

  • Does not irritate the skin – ideal for babies with sensitive and allergic skin
  • Breathable – the baby doesn't sweat or get too cold
  • Chemical-free – pure as nature itself
  • Durable – washed a hundred times and still soft!

Freya now only wears organic cotton – and her skin is thriving. A mother's heart is at peace. 🥰

"Is this toy safe?" – wooden toys

Who knows that moment when a baby puts everything in their mouth? 🙋‍♀️ Freya was about 4 months old when I started looking at toys with new eyes. Plastic, dyes, chemicals... I didn't want her sucking on all that.

Wooden toys changed everything. They are 100% natural, meaning they are safe even if Freya decides to put them in her mouth – and believe me, she does. 😄 High-quality wooden toys do not contain BPA or other harmful substances, and wood itself is a naturally warm and pleasant material for a child's hands.

What surprised me most was how much these toys support Freya's development. Simple blocks and shapes teach fine motor skills, develop creativity, and spatial thinking – without flashing lights and loud noises. And best of all – they last! Freya's blocks are already ready to be passed on to her little sister because wooden toys don't end up in a landfill a year later like plastic ones. They are timeless. ❤️

Natural fabrics – baby's comfort around the clock

One thing no one told me before giving birth: babies sweat a lot. And when a baby is sweaty and uncomfortable, no one sleeps. Not the baby, not you. 😅

Natural fabrics – organic cotton, bamboo, merino wool – regulate body temperature naturally. They wick moisture away from the skin and keep the baby dry. Our first bamboo sleeping bag was a real game-changer!

Conscious choice – a small step, a big difference

I'm not a perfect mom – who is? 😊 But one thing I'm sure of: natural materials have made Freya's life (and my life!) much easier and happier.

If you're just starting this journey – don't feel pressured to change everything at once. Start with one organic bodysuit or one wooden toy. You'll see the difference yourself. 💚

With love, one mom to another. 🌸
